Seized dogs' fate to be learned

The fate of the 79 dogs seized from a breeding operation in West St. Paul is expected to be known today, say animal-welfare authorities. The province's chief veterinary officer, Wayne Lees, said he expects to find out today if the animals' owner will try to get them back.
