Trainers work with shelter dogs to encourage adoption

The immense black dog sprang into the air with an exuberant leap, then settled into a more subdued posture as dog training began Monday evening at the Better Days Animal Shelter near Shippensburg.

On July 8, our two dogs got loose from our house. Xander, almost 2 years old and 90 pounds of a great Dane/Lab mix, was hit by a car on Ocean Avenue at Shermor Place. He died in my arms on the street.

Shoting at Twin Falls Hotel

Twin falls police are currently investigating a shooting at a local hotel. According to police they are currently looking for a male suspect, possibly Hispanic or black, with fully tattooed arms with shaved head.
